Connect the mug to your smartphone and set the ideal drinking temperature via the app. You can save different settings for each drink, so that you don’t have to set the temperature manually. The light on the mug indicates when your drink is at the ideal temperature. In the Ember app you can also see how much caffeine you have consumed. You place your travel mug on the saucer to charge the built-in battery. Once full, the smart mug will keep your drink warm for 3 hours. If you place it on the charging saucer, your hot drink will stay warm indefinitely. The ceramic coating of the mug protects your smart drinking cup from scratches.
